What do you think about short women dating short men?

I am 5'1 and I've recently met someone who is incredible. We bond on almost every level and I'm incredibly attracted to him but he is short. He's my height! Maybe an inch taller! But as a woman who is used to dating big men I'm realizing that this may present a problem or it will at least be a challenge to say the least. Am I over exaggerating? What do you think?

I am the same height as you and I dated someone who was 6"2 for 2 years, my boyfriend now is probably only an inch taller than me and we have been togehter for 9 months. No problems at all, the only issue I ahve is that I cant wear really high heels, but Im over that, just an excuse to shop for more shoes and its better for my back:) Its wonderful, not only can I reach him to kiss him, it doesn't hurt my neck to have my head tilted back so far, and we fit perfectly for cuddling.

Why would you deny incredible chemistry because he is barely taller than you? Go for it you will see it doesnt matter!

Oh not sure if you care about this, but I find the shorter the man, the more...well endowed he is.

The only real issue is that if you have children the possibility is that they will be short too. Not necessarily though. That only makes a difference, especially for the males, in that it has been proven statistically that tall men are more successful in business affairs than short men. If you are in love and otherwise well suited I wouldn't let height get in the way.

how will it be challenging? a short man can do pretty much everything a tall man could do... i cant think of what he wouldn't be able to do!! i usually date shorter guys, not for any reason it's just kind of happened like that! but im now dating a taller guy and its just the same, and its kind of annoying to always have to go on my toes to kiss him! :0)

it seems you have a great base for the relationship already if ur that close so go for it!

well, that depends on your POV. if you don't like the idea of dating someone in your height limit then that's your choice. but sounds like you and him are getting along juts fine. its a step. so your POV on dating short men might change.

You should really ask yourself if you want to date him or not. I personally don't think there's a problem with short women dating short men.
